©️ Copyright Robert Howdle - Doctor Who Series 1 Episode 1 - Doctor Who?

This is my first ever plot script so sorry if it is really bad. I have not sorted it into paragraphs yet.

In this episode the Doctor has just been created by the Time lords as a prototype because the time lords have discovered that they can grow their own breed of time lord with extra regenerations, current time lords can only regenerate 5 time whereas this new breed of time lords grown can regenerate up to 15 times and the time lords think that if they can create their own breed of time lords then they can make Gallifrey stand in the stars for billions of years to come. The Doctor can be seen walking up to the Un-tempered Schism. The Doctor is shown now to be shown a TARDIS that had been taken and kept in the time lord archives from ancient times. This TARDIS belonged to the original Doctor that had to go against the High Council of Time Lords and send his own planet back into the Time war, back to his own races death. With the original version of the time lord planet destroyed in the time war The first Doctor finds clue hidden around the galaxy that take him to a temple that he thought was just a myth, the hidden temple of the time lord which held the secrets for creating a new Gallifrey. The Doctor decided to make a new Gallifrey but by doing that he brought back the time lords oldest and most deadliest enemy, The Daleks. The time lords emerged victorious and the Daleks sent back into the darkness of the void. By saving Gallifrey the Doctor gave up his last regeneration and died and was placed inside of the hidden temple and the clues to it where well hidden through different places in time and space once more. The new Doctor can be seen inside of his ancient TARDIS configuring the controls, flicking switches, pressing buttons and reading a manual. The manual reads on the front “ TARDIS Configuring For Dummies”. The Doctor is wearing a grey suit jacket with red strips, a white shirt, brow trousers, and white and red trainers. This TARDIS is a dull colour but the lights in the side of the walls really brighten the console room up when they are needed, this is the Coral Setting. The central console is an bright green colour which makes the console stand out from the rest of the TARDIS. As The Doctor makes his first de-materialisation he is unaware of a flickering green light underneath the floor plates inside the TARDIS that stands out from the illuminating green glow from the rest of the time machine . This flickering light gets faster and faster once the Doctor has set his TARDIS flying through the Time Vortex. The Doctor then sets the TARDIS in orbit around a Super Nova to check for any faults or problems that have occurred. At the end of his check he finally discovers the flashing light and checks his manual. In his manual is have a warning for a flashing green light but there is a warning for two sets of flashing green lights. Just been grown, The Doctor is basically feeling the way any time lord would after they have just regenerated, confused, and a bit crazy. The Doctor reads that one flashing green light would symbolise that somebody is trying to located and lock onto the TARDIS and another green flashing like would symbolise that the Heart Of The TARDIS has not settled and will implode and then explode of the operator doesn't give the Heart Of The TARDIS a chance to wire itself into the TARDIS database. The Doctor thoroughly and cannot find anything to tell him which one is which so he goes with his instinct. He chooses the one that symbolises somebody is trying to locate and lock on to the TARDIS and as he continuously checks him manual and sets controls he completely cuts off communication and teleportational abilities inside of the TARDIS so that nobody can communicate with the TARDIS or teleport inside but it also stops the Doctor from making outside calls and stops him teleporting himself or anything else off the TARDIS at all using a TARDIS teleportation system. The problem being that The Doctor needs the second manual for learning how to land the TARDIS and how to enable communications and teleportational abilities again. But to the Doctor's luck the second manual was back on Gallifrey. The Doctor is now stuck orbiting a Super Nova, no idea how to get back to Gallifrey or even land for that matter. The Doctor is panicking now and he can be seen running around the TARDIS and he begins to change dials, flick switches and pull leavers. The Doctor does no realise that he is setting a course for Earth and as he is rushing around the TARDIS pressing random buttons he thinks is right, he knocks his manual down into the TARDIS's force field generator. Here we see the TARDIS's box-shaped force field generator with the manual inside. The Doctor is in such a rush to see if a button or leaver does something he has not noticed that he his manual is missing. The TARDIS Screen indicates that he has set co-ordinates for Earth. This is shown by a blue box with a dotted line to a picture of the Earth. The Doctor, not knowing what they are or what they do, he turns a leaver several times which is then generating power to the TARDIS, he flicks some switches that gather the co-ordinates from the TARDIS's navigational computer for Earth and then he pushes a pump in and out which creates the vortex loop around the TARDIS bringing it in to the Time Vortex and the finally he releases the handbrake. The TARDIS violently shudders and the TARDIS screen starts to bleep. The Doctor looks at it in confusion, the TARDIS screen is telling him that the TARDIS is fully of power but the Heart Of The TARDIS is still not fully wired into the TARDIS banks and the power cannot get all the way around the TARDIS so the navigation computer switches off to stop any time viruses infecting it now that it is not protected by the TARDIS's Heart. The TARDIS is now hurtling towards Earth like a lost meteor with no place to land, landing mode not set and with a pilot who has no idea how to land the TARDIS shows the Doctor where the TARDIS will make a crash landing and it shows him that the TARDIS will crash land into The Pyramids Of Giza. The Doctor's mind has suddenly started to absorb everything he sees and he is now able to remember from the manual how to activate the TARDIS's forcefield. The Doctor is now rushing round the console changing settings and activating the TARDIS's Forcefield Generator. You can heard the forcefield generators motor starting but then it dies down. The Doctor soon is busy at work again re-routing all power around the fault to hide the fault for the time being and then the forcefield backup generator kicks in and so that TARDIS has a fully functional forcefield. The Doctor braces for impact but seconds before hitting the Pyramids he has a brainwave and hits a button that makes the outside of the TARDIS appear transparent and the Pyramid is just able to float through the TARDIS undamaged however due to the short space of time The Doctor had to do this operation to save the Pyramid Of Giza, his TARDIS and himself the TARDIS hadn't fully de-materialised so the point of the pyramid went straight through the TARDIS floor and just missed putting the Doctor's console in half. Now there is a blue box, half transparent half just normal falling to the floor now on fire. Inside of the TARDIS the Doctor struggles to keep control, not that he had control from the start, but he is managing to stop the TARDIS from exploding in the sky. Eventually the TARDIS crash lands and the Doctor manages to escape before anything happens. The console room is in a state, wires are hanging down from the roof of the Console Room, half of the flooring is apart and hanging on by the walls and roof of the TARDIS, there are fires everywhere. The Doctor checks the TARDIS screen and finds that he is in the Giza desert, right next to the pyramids. The Doctor exits the TARDIS and falls to the floor. Some Egyptians have seen the TARDIS falling from the sky and saw the small explosion and knew that somebody could be hurt so they set out to come to aid him. The Doctor discovers that he has a broken arm and some bad cuts from the crash but these are not bad enough to caught him to regenerate. The Doctor is pleased to here this because if a time lord is forced to regenerate when his/her cells are not fully regenerated then they will not be able to support the time lord's life and they will die. Luckily The Doctor was still within the first 28 hours of his growth cycle so his body was able to repair all of his cuts and bruises in no time but his broken arm would 3 hours to heal. One of the Egyptian children weaved his way through the crowd of villagers all trying to help the Doctor and a voice came from within the crowd “ Make way for the healer!”. A child who only look about 14 years old came to the Doctor with a bandage and a small bag of what looked like cool water and ice. The healer asked for the Doctor to be put in shade while the he helped him. He opened the Doctor's shirt and put the water on it, all of a sudden The Doctor told him that he could not feel his arm and the healer tells him that the water is blessed liquid from the Nile River. He tells the Doctor that the pain will start in a few seconds and this blessed liquid is believed to stop you from feeling the pain and the ice is blessed to numb the damaged areas while it heals. The healer informs the Doctor that the villagers all believe strongly that “Hapi, the god of the Nile” knows when somebody is hurt and he personally blesses the water that we take from the Nile to help them. The Doctor's growth cycle starts to kick in but he cannot feel the pain yet and the healer tells him that he will feel it a little while after we reach the village. The Doctor asks the healers name and the child replies back that he is called Imhotep, after the god of healing. While starting to heal, The Doctor is taken back to a small village near the Pyramids. They offer to take the flying, smoking, broken blue box with them but the Doctor's mind has now adapted and he knows the engines will faze and explode if the TARDIS is moved before the Heart Of The TARDIS can set itself into the mainframe of the TARDIS and repair itself. The Egyptians are a little bit puzzled at how a small blue box can have engines but they are a respectful tribe and leave the small wooden box next to the Pyramid still smoking and offer to leave some of their own people behind to make sure nobody comes near or attempts to do anything with it. The healing begins and The Doctor starts to feel the pain of his arm being broken down and his body rebuilding the damaged parts. During the trip back to the village the Doctor speaks to the healer asking him how he can have such knowledge of medicine and healing and he replies with a simple answer of A young Egyptian girl stays with the Doctor while he is resting but her parents are trying to make her leave but she really wants to stay and the Doctor can see that there is something about this girl and he invites her to stay with him. The Doctor asks her name and he notices that she stammers as if she doesn't know her name or if she didn't have one. The Doctor asks if she was born here and he notices a pattern emerging, when ever he asks her about her family or where she is from it is like she has to think about it but one other fact that he notices is that he can see that she is holding back tears in her eyes as if she is about to cry. The Doctor asks her to reach into his light brown overcoat which has been placed on the wooden table near by. The Doctor didn't really take notice of his surroundings until the pain started from his arm, he sees that this village is a very poor village, its people wear a single very long cloth as clothes but looking at half of the clothes on these people they might as well be wearing nothing at all. The little girl asks him if he is an alien and the Doctor is thinking to himself if he should tell her or not. He decides to tell her that he is a time lord from the planet Gallifrey and that the flying blue box (that is still on fire) was his space ship. The little girl is amazed at him and begs for him to tell her more but she notices his Sonic Screwdriver in her hand that she forgot to give him. She asks what it is an the Doctor tells her that it is like a magic key that opens any door but she doesn't believe him so he is forced to tell the truth. He asks her to give it to him and she quickly does and she asks what he is doing and he tells her that he is scanning his arm to see how well it is healing and he tells her of how he can regenerate and how lucky he is that he isn't regenerating, she is surprised to hear of what his body can do to itself but she doesn't know that the Doctor is actually scanning her against the alien data banks kept within his Sonic Screwdriver. The Doctor finds that she is not an alien that the time lords have encountered before. He knows that she is from a distant planet judging by her eyes and the fact that she looks extremely tired which could suggest to him that she has been awake all of the journey. Breaking the tension a woman enters and tells the young girl to come and help work cooking the evening meal. The young girl is sad to go but she must obey her elders and the Doctor knows this and respects it. The woman asks the Doctor if he needs anything and the Doctor tells her that he is fine. The Doctor is left alone to heal and he falls to sleep. During his sleep he dreams about a War on the fourth moon of Masqual. (Said Maz – Quool). The Masqualion race are a peaceful race but are the type that will never go to war against their own but will always defend their own kind. The Doctor is woken up and hour and a half later but the little girl, he is happy to see her but he did not get to see what happened to the planet or who they were at war with. The girl asked the Doctor if he would join them for the evening meal. The Doctor is unsure but the young girl starts to beg for him to come. The women comes back in to find the young girl and tells her to leave the man alone and she tells her what she was doing and the women tells the Doctor that the village would love to have him as a guest to the meal. The Doctor agrees to having dinner with them. The Doctor thanks the woman but she insists that the Doctor calls her “Banafrit” which means beautiful soul. The young girl skipped out happily to go and help and the Doctor tried to get up but but then falls back down to his straw bed in pain and the woman rushes to his side. She shouts for the healer to come and a few seconds later Imhotep comes in with two large Egyptian males to assist him. Imhotep asks what is wrong and the Doctor tells him that his shoulder is hurting and that he cannot feel his legs. The healer asks for everyone else to leave the hut that they are in and in seconds the hut is cleared there is nobody even peeking outside or even anywhere near. Imhotep tells the Doctor that people round here respect each others privacy and the Doctor is impressed at how well these people get on. The healer says that this is normal for an alien if he has just came crashing down in a space ship. The Doctor is shocked at what Imhotep has just said and the Doctor asks him to explain himself and tell him why he says he is an alien and the healer tells him that he listened to his heart... both of them..., The Doctor asks him why that makes him alien, he tells him that he could have been born with two hearts, but the healer tells him that he was told a story about a man that came to Earth in a small blue box that he called a TARDIS and who saved the ancient Egyptians from an army of metal monsters that came from the underworld and hid in the lower temples. The Doctor knew who this was because he was told the same story when he was studying at the Time lord Academy. The Doctor asked Imhotep to keep his secret quite and the healer agreed. Whilst helping him up The Doctor asked him what he knew of the young girl who is always talking to him. He tells the Doctor that there once was a small round metal ball thing that fell from the sky. It looked like an escape pod from a Masqualion Warship but that is what puzzles me, from what I have heard the Masqualion people are a peaceful race and hate the fact of war and violence. The Doctor tells him that being told something and actually knowing something are two different things. The healer continues and tells him that he went to the Nile for a late night blessing of the holy water when he saw the metal ball fall from the sky, he didn't know whether to run for help or to go and investigate. He tells him that he decided to go and investigate and took some blessed Nile water with him and prayed that all of the Gods watch over him. As he approached the pod it was steaming, probably of the heat from entering the atmosphere and through the window he could see something inside but it ran from the pod behind some sand dunes and that he noticed a slimy trail. It was sparkling blue like navy blue sequins and glitter and then there was a white flash and then all he could see was darkness. The Doctor can be seen to be amazed by this story and tells him to continue and so Imhotep does. He tells the Doctor about when he wakes up the young girl was there with him helping him and then the villagers came but when I looks I could not see the pod again, over the years people have claimed to see the pod and many have made up their own myths and legends about them and some have gone in search of it have never returned. The Doctor asks him if he ever thought about going back there but the healer informs him that it is on the forbidden land. But just before the Doctor can ask him where the forbidden land is the “Banafrit” interrupts them to tell them that they must hurry and join the rest of the village at the dinner table. At the dinner table the tribe leader proposes a toast to the health of the Doctor. They all drink to this and the Doctor notices Imhotep (the healer) and stands up and asks to be pointed out to the toilets. One of the tribe members points it out to him and the Doctor politely leaves and he manages to sneak round UN-noticed to the healer. The Doctor tells him to take him to the forbidden land so that he can have a look at where the he saw the pod but Imhotep tells him that it is forbidden for a reason. Legend has it that there is a ghost that haunts the area where the pod crashed and it is supposedly the ghost of the Horus who crashed sent us the metal box to test our responsibilities, people wont accept that it could have been an alien, they are too into their gods and I respect that which is why I don't speak of it and so should you. The Doctor looks a little bit frustrated now and manages to persuade Imhotep to take him.
